Justification For Blogging Anonymously
For those of you who have your own blogs or those who have lusted to dive into the blogosphere – are you or will you be blogging anonymously? I am an anonymous blogger, and I want to justify why with some of the thoughts I had in the very beginning.
There are no locked doors on my blog and anyone can visit, anyone on the entire expanse of the Earth. Even those who don’t read English can instantly translate my words with an online translator. This sounds positive all the way, especially when we want worldwide interest in our blog and high numbers of readership.

It does have its dark-side though and this can include a war against privacy, safety, spam and even personal attacks. To delve further, privacy is probably the most given reason for blogging anonymously.
Have you thought about the possibilities of personal or even professional dilemmas that could arise from making your identity known? Furthermore, something that you might not find out until it is too late, but if you didn’t opt for domain privacy – anyone can find out your personal information regardless if you blog anonymously or not.
Through certain databases, readers can get hold of things such as your address, full name and telephone number – scary. This is particularly worrying if you discuss ‘heated’ topics where some readers could be offended or stride to keep that information under the rug.
