Dexter

I have to admit that I am a huge TV watcher. I know that it is not really ‘cool’ to admit that you watch TV but I cannot help it, especially since we got satellite TV. I also do not discriminate between ‘good’ TV and ‘bad’ TV. I will watch whatever is on, including all the reality shows, soap operas and talk shows. This also means though that I watch some really good, quality TV like Dexter.

The plot of Dexter does not do it justice. The show is about a serial killer who only kills bad people. Typing that out makes it sound like the stupidest show in the world but it is wildly entertaining and completely believable. Dexter Morgan works for the Miami Metro Police as a blood splatter analyst and hunts and murders bad people in his spare time to keep his ‘dark passenger’ at bay.

There is of course a continuing story line to go with the murders including almost getting caught every season, a sister, a family and visits from his deceased father. I am so lucky that I get to watch this show on a premium channel on my cable TV. Otherwise I might have to actually do something like read or exercise, and we all know how I hate those two things. Give me a TV any day of the week.
